I went on Friday with my niece and Saturday with my old roomies.

Fri:

end of David Guetta (eh)
a bit of Stephen Marley (eh)
Felix Da Housecat (semi-boring from the second half on)
a bit of Jarvis Cocker (funny banter...pretty fun songs, too)
Faithless (my highlight of the weekend)
Evil Nine (empty Sahara tent...a shame)

Sat:

end of DJ Heather (cool beans)
MSTRKRFT (I enjoyed them)
a bit of !!! (pretty fun)
Arcade Fire (very much enjoyed them)
end of Justice (not too shabby)
a bit of LCD Soundsystem (pretty fun)
last half of Red Hot Chili Peppers (pretty fun)
beginning of Tiesto (against my will...he was horrible...we all laughed and then left)

was in palm springs last weekend, but for work at a fresh produce trade show. i'm disappointed to admit that depsite seeing a documentary on coachella i only knew it was in the californian desert. infact i only found out on Thurday speaking to some canadian kids at the pool that it was on last weekend :(

my boss made it plainly clear there was no way i was having any time off to go a "bloody tree-huggers hippy love in" :D

worse was having to sit in the festival traffic driving to near the mountains with some swedish customers of mine to play golf where i could hear music in the distance.

that said, i have very fair skin and was reapplying factor 40 every hour on the golf course as i felt my skin burning. so the idea of partying in 110 Degrees F was not very appealing, far too hot for me
