Sun Ra!
 

I am fucking loving Sun Song. The first 3 tracks on that album are masterpieces, especially "Call for all Demons" that has the best beat eva! Anyone knows what should I get next?

i'm glad you're liking it -- def listen to the kinda-sequel, Sound Of Joy. it's a little more eccentric, but has some really nice vocal songs.

Heliocentric Worlds 2 is good. i have a bunch of other Sun Ra records on my HD but haven't listened to them enough to have opinions.

also search for the album Batman and Robin by Sun Ra and the Blues Project. a Batman soundtrack! the "Batman Theme" is more than worth it.
