Does anyone hear listen to Sizzla?
Okay, I got into this guy through the track on the Roots Manuva Back to Mine called Rastafari Teach I Everything (I think). Or rather, I like this track a lot, and would like to pick up an album.
So, I went into HMV and he has, like, 40,000 CDs, none of which contain that song. So can anyone make any recommendations? |

Black Woman & Child is said to be a classic? otherwise, i have no basis for this recommedation.
also, please listen to Sizzla on Germaica's Cure riddim. don't you guys have a ton of dancehall shops up there? do you like Capleton? |
Re: Does anyone hear listen to Sizzla?
Here's a link to the album with "Rastafari Teach I Everything" on it. In fact, that's the name of the album, too. Can't make any recommendations on it though. Although, here's a review on the page I linked that gives a bit of insight on it:
Yes, this is the new Sizzla. And ´Yes´ Sizzla still seems to be able to uphold a high level of quality. Especially the firts 4 songs and the last 2 songs reach great heights. Don´t expect the lyrical and musical inspiration of Sizzla´s first 3 or 4 records. Sizzla has grown up and tries to convince us of the need for ´Fya bunning´ with more punchier dancehall/hip hop riddims. Those longing for straight forward reggae- check Praise Ye Jah and Black Woman and Child. On ´Rastafari...´ Sizzla delivers to his homecrowd with licks that will rock the yard. So...Good, but different. Here's a listing of places selling "Rastafari Teach I Everything" for cheaper... |

If anyone hasn't heard that song, they should check it out. Beautiful.
