Mix from last night
 

Ok, so last night... after having a pretty confusing & long day (+ night prior) I decided to make a quick mix of stuff that's been lying around on my HD for a few days / weeks, as sort of a way to vent, know what I mean?

I think the mixing overall is pretty solid, a little cramped in a place or two (but you can kind of expect that to some degree when you're mixing live)... although, I will say - I definitely got into a 'time-crunch' as I didn't realize I had already recorded ~70 minutes by the time I got to "Finger Of Funk (Metric Remix)" so I had to not include 3-5 tracks that I wanted to use and quickly threw in the 'final' song

[as, if I included all the tracks I wanted to use, it would've gone to like 90-100 minutes & wouldn't have fit nicely on a single disc or two cd's]

Fuck me! I downloaded this on my laptop a while ago but didn't get round to giving it a listen until right now....

This is so fuckin good it's untrue. I'm rockin my paint covered socks off to this.

I've been decorating my house for the past 2 days and this'll be the soundtrack to the next few days.

sorry - I knew some of you guys were sleeping on this mix!

but thanks for the compliment... I was kind of worried how some of the transitioned sounded, but then - another guy on a different MB was suprised that I had done it live, and not had elements pre-mixed or whatever

although... one sample was added after the fact... but that was mostly just due to me listening to the mix while watching another movie (while having a bit of a smoke) and going "hey... that would sound cool if it was actually in the mix"

now - the rest of you guys should get to downloading this mixset... as another one's on it's way (mixed it last night - just haven't gotten around to converting the .aif to mp3 & I'm not at home at the momment)
