Dub Pistols
Six Million Ways To Live
Looking for new inspiration? I know it's been around for years now. That doesn't make any less relevant esp. in these days and times. " . . .soldiers on the corner. . . " |
Re: Dub Pistols
what's dub pistols? something like Easy Star All Stars?
|
Re: Dub Pistols
Point Blank has a bit of a Chem Bros. sound. Strong party vibe.
Six Million Way to Live Massive style(Horace guest vocals to boot). Singles & remixes added fix. 10 bones well spent on Point Blank over at itunes. |
Re: Dub Pistols
not a lot of info floating around in this here thread...
i wonder what the answer to chinio's q is... |

...I would say that they don't really sound like the Easy-Star Allstars but you can sample a few of their releases (and buy them) off of www.beatport.com (edit) I only point you that way b/c the only track of theirs that I know is "World Gone Crazy" (Dogtown Clash Vocal Mix) (and the dub mix)... which I got as a legal download a long while ago |
Re: Dub Pistols
Point Blank used to be one of my favorite cds. They never released Six Million Ways to Live in America but I got a 3 song sampler from the Crystal Method Orlando show in 2001. Sounded more streamlined and less "dub Prodigy woohoo" so I wasn't too thrilled cause I loved the hard beats and crazy energy.
And what ever happened to Hardknox, they kinda kicked ass too!:D |
Re: Dub Pistols
ahhhh....
and I though we were talking about just a DUB group. Had I told you I fancy DUB at anytime? I think I had not.:p |
