I think this is the right forum for this. I had to post it just because of the fantastic quote from Kanye. Basically, he didn't win for best video in the MTV Europe Music Awards, so he crashed the stage and went on a rant about why he should have. And he has a point. I mean, his video "cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it" and he "was jumping across canyons." :rolleyes:

Unbelievable. To go and spoil someone else's moment and even diss 'em onstage ("I ain't never seen your video") is just classless.

i'm not a huge kanye west fan, but i saw him live this summer and he's attempting to take the "Hardest Working Man in Showbiz" title from James Brown. absolutely fantastic performer.

if i were given a pair of tix to see kanye and a pair to see Justice v. Simian, no contest. i'd go see kanye and i'd seel the Justice tix to some fucking loser cunt in tight black jeans, dyed black hair and some ironic faded black rock tee. i don't mind their music, but their fans are cockfosters.

well - I've seen neither video, and I've never even heard that Kanye track

but this really does prove something

1) Kanye, essenitally - is a spoiled little child
2) sometimes, it isn't about the money

ahhh

basically fuck kanye and wow - isn't "we are your friends" like a couple of years old?

but I will admit - it's been the only "catchy" song that I've really listened to for this long of a period of time on a reasonably regular basis

but that said... I didn't really like Simian much to begin with - I got their first album, and just found it to be a bit too much of a rip off of "The Beta Band"...
