Massive Attack - False Flags
 

so I noticed the new promo floating around... just 3 tracks. I have no idea if the album's leaked yet or what but I am enjoying this so far. much. The bassline sort of makes me think it's already been remixed by DFA but that's not a bad thing. Still, I'm happy to hear that it occasionally gets a bit more riled up than the UNKLE and 100th Window stuff... anyone else hear it?

Yeah, that song is on the best of thingy. The bassline is great. That and "Live With Me" are both killer tracks. Got me stoked.

I think the False Flags b-side, United Snakes, is far better...hope that is part of the direction the new album will be taking.

All I can find is the song called False Flags from 'Collected' or something like that......and it's nothing to write home about. Guess these "b-sides" or whatever are better huh?:confused:

ok - first of all... old news guys :p

False Flags was a new track written not long before "Collected" and because the proper next album might still be a ways off, it was decided to include it on that release

there's a promo cd-r that was sent to radio stations, etc which has on it:
• False Flags - UNKLE Surrender Sounds Session #2
• False Flags - UNKLE Surrender Sounds Session #2 Dub
• United Snakes

United Snakes is basically the track "Bullet" which has been played live like, once or twice

it was also released as either a 2-track 12" or digital release, which doesn't have the Dub mix
