Just back from EBM type bar and heard new version of Psychedelic Furs "Love My Way". Could've be out for a while, but have never heard. Not that it tops the orig. of course, simple fit for location.

WAS SO GOOD, TIPPED THE DJ !!!

C'MON GUYS HELP ME!!!!

I'd be willing to guarentee my Underworld collection
(packed in boxes still;) ) that this shit will appeal to you. It has an Underworld quality to it. That is if the boys went all goth or something.

It's NOT the Mandy Kane version (my god, horrid).

Runs about 7-8 minutes, TONS of breaks through out the entire song, distorted beats like some of Skinny Puppy's that gives the feeling like the speakers might blow any second.

The music doesn't match the version I heard and not so sure about the vocals either, but it was dancey type bar so maybe there's a remix out there. Maybe I'll have to play the DJ groupie role this weekend.:confused:

Just in case anyone cares.

The band, really one man: Assemblage 23. Website shows quite an impressive back catalogue spanning since '88. I love it when I stumble on something like this, makes killing time so much more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the "Love My Way" cover is only avail on a comp(Newer Wave 2, apparantly there was a #1?) that looks rather unimpressive. Furthermore, the version I heard was limited pressing only to DJ's. Leave it to me to want what I cannot have.
