ive been hearing pretty good things about this, but i really dont like herberts previous stuff. too....campy?

they have it on itunes. should i bother???

i haven't loved his last couple albums but scales is fun and satisfying without being campy or obtuse like Plat Du Jour. it doesn't best Around the House or the Roisin Murphy album but if you're a fan of Herbert anyway, absolutely get this album. I'd buy the cd or vinyl though cuz the packaging is sweet.

I really like this album. Haven't heard much of his other stuff but this one certainly doesn't sound campy.

i've seen it getting rave reivews but i was kinda non-plussed at first

it is growing on me though...
