okay, this is a game, what you have to do is link underworld to another band in EXACTLY six steps; no more, no less. here's mine for an example

Link underworld to genesis

1. underworld recorded under V2 records
2. moby records under V2 records
3. moby used to record under elektra records
4. elektra records was bought out by atlantic records
5. charisma records was bought out by atlantic records
6. genesis recorded under charisma records.

but since you mentioned it, the quickest link might be through Brian Eno, since he's collaborated with both groups.

Jesus. You can link almost any artist to any artist like that. There arent that many major record labels left and the smaller ones are usually subsidiaries of the majors. If you can link the bands you want to in ways other than record labels then that will take a lot more talent. I suppose you could use the record label thing in one of the steps if needed... not a bad idea tho bryan.

i could've linked them something like this though:

Underworld uses a mellotron choir/voices
Genesis uses a mellotron choir/voices,
but that would only be two steps.

upset is a strong word, more irritated because i knew that UW had closer links to Krautrock than Prog Rock, but thats water under the bridge now :)

Alright! I'll try a guy who has connections to just about everybody...David Bowie!


1. Underworld once did a remix called "Lush 3-3" for Orbital...
2. Whenever Orbital remixes a track, they call it an "Orbital Mix", a term previously used by The Orb...
3. The Orb is fronted by Alex Patterson, who once did an album called FFWD with Thomas Fehlmann, Kris Weston, and Robert Fripp...
4. Robert Fripp played guitar on the David Bowie album "Heroes"


Well, that's only four, but these games are fun...the only problem is for nerds like me it is near impossible to do this without using Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, or Bowie himself...
