Behringer DJX700 Mixer
Anyone can recommend me this mixer? Its cheap, but also worth buying?
Thanks in advance. |
Re: Behringer DJX700 Mixer
Well, that's my general impression of Behringer stuff. I have no experience with the mixer, but I think you can make the following assumption: it'll actually be fairly good for what you pay for it, but you'll want to replace it eventually, so if you can afford to go better you might as well do it now.

Re: Behringer DJX700 Mixer
Adam's spot-on. I've used a couple of Behringer mixers (though not this one) and the truth is, they've got probably the best dollar to value ratio of anything on the market. They're clean, have good signal representation and your next step up is probably going to cost you 50% more, and for that 50% you won't actually gain on the signal side. Their durability is suspect though -- I own a Behringer mixer that I use for monitoring and what-not, and there are shorts developing in some of the knobs. But for the 4-5 Behringer mixers I see often, they're all 3, 4 and 5 years old and only mine is having any trouble at all.
For the price it goes for, buy it... and then start a savings plan for the next, better thing. |
