I still HEART HUCKABEES

It's been a few months since I've watched the film, or so it seems. Anyways, one of my friends just saw it and texted msg.'d me how much she loved the film and was going to watch it again this evening.

I replied with a few text msgs of the wonderful, quotable dialouge from the film. However, I've now found myself watching it again, in it's entirity.

This has easily moved up into the best films ever list for me at the moment and will most likely end up being a permanent resident among those other touted films. For myself lately, I find that I watch it a whole lot. It seems to have taken on that Big Lebowski status for me of repeat viewings. I can only hope this type of fascination wil continue to grow with others.

There are so many wonderful aspects of the film to admire, the director of photography Peter Deming(a frequent David Lynch collaborator), and Jon Brion then, the music producer and artist of such people as Fioana Apple and scoring films for director Paul Thomas Anderson.

Now that I'm gushing I should probably wrap this post up to a close. But before I hit Submit New Thread button, anyone still apprehensive about the prospects of seeing this film should give it at least one try. If you have a open mind to something a bit different than your standard bullshit thinly disguised as comedy, see this film.

Definetely on my list of best flicks ever. i watched the film like a month ago and yeah.. YOU ROCK, ROCK!

i rented and watched it... it was 1am. i watched it again. bought it (next day).
