PR for RiverRun?
 

Does anyone know of any press floating around saying that Lovely Broken Thing or Pizza For Eggs is a download only release?

Just that im doing an essay for uni about how the entertainment industry is trying to fight P2P networks and then contrasting it with stuff like how Gnarls Barkley is number 1 with crazy and that was only on downloads.

Seeing the last two UW releases were download only, im trying to fit this is in and argue that more bands are releasing more and more internet only songs/EP's.

there were several reviews around for LBT, one at the online magazine eqmag (http://www.eq-mag.co.uk), this was issue 2, i got a CD-Rom of the Mag which has a 3 page article about the current projects - not sure if its still online though?

Plus there were reviews in DJ magazine, one about the download project and another about the supposed new band evolving from the movie project, these are issues dated 9th Dec 2005 & Jan 6th 2006 respectively - these were just small 1/4 page articles...

i know Karl has been doing a lot of promo work, but most has been published on online sites and tends to use the same 'quotes' that were in the EQ article, I know Lloyds blog tends to have a few links to these articles on it...

check that...

i think there were some screenshots floating about here that show Jal to Tokyo at no1 in the japanese Itunes chart... that might be interesting/relevant too? :)
