i had some big birthday plans for my radio show.

but it turns out akufen is playing nyc that night.

should i cancel my big nerdy birthday and see him? or does he suck live?

it's at 12turn13 (never been there) and i can't find anything more about it except that it's being thrown by beyond events and wolf + lamb

Well Wolf + Lamb throw some good parties. I've seen Akufen DJ and he was pretty ill droppin all kinds of dope surprises. A download of a Live PA from him is equally good, though it wasn't all that varied in style, but that's to be expected given his production output. Good stuff, but limited in range.

Wolf + Lamb is smart, so I'm sure the venue will be good stuff.

Yeah I've seen Akufen live and DJing, both times wicked bu the venue has to be right (intimate) and the length of time has to be right (so book other acts).

Treat yourself out dammit!

Your radio show has many birthdays to come and it's not like your radio show is going to punish you with, say, holding out for not getting it a present.

Better yet, don't base yourself in years mkb, your sets bigger than that!
