Rez MIDI
Does anyone have a MIDI file of the rez lick? I would love to throw that into reason and mess around...
|
Re: Rez MIDI
I'm googling around but not finding anything, I've found Born Slippy and some others.. I'm sure its' out there. if not, just experiment, I guess.
but, you can't import midi into reason... can you? |
Re: Rez MIDI
Yes, you can import MIDI into reason. I've done it.
|
Re: Rez MIDI
You can also export out, which is helpful if you're trying to move into the realm of DAW's and VST's...

Re: Rez MIDI
why not try and recreate it yourself? Shouldn't be too hard.
|
Re: Rez MIDI
I think it actually might be hard to recreate it. It's played so fast on the original it's hard to hear all the notes. I know that it has a lot of notes you wouldn't hear unless it was slowed down.

Re: Rez MIDI
i think i'll have a go at it myself sometime.

Re: Rez MIDI
Make sure you give me a copy!
|
Re: Rez MIDI
Do you know what synthesizer made the melody?
|
Re: Rez MIDI
There is a bootleg of Rez knocking about - not 100% sure which one it is, but I am sure it's the version that made it to Bootleg Babies - which starts with the melody v e r y v e r y s l o w l y. So I am sure you would be able to pick it up from that.
