What is Kore?
Anyone following this new Native Instruments product? As near as I can tell, it's basically a plug-in/stand alone version of Reason's Combinator, with a control surface...is that about right?

Re: What is Kore?
KVR Audio makes a unit that pretty much does all of this, but you coud do MUCH worse with your money than buying either the Kore or the KVR unit. Here's what you need to know:

No, I've read that, and that's what I'm asking...all I'm taking from that is:
*some sort of univeral Kore librarian *combinator type funtionality, but for any plug-in/synth *combination audio interface/controller Nothing in it sounds quite as "revolutionary" as they're claiming, which makes me think I might be missing something... |
Re: What is Kore?
kore is revolutionary in sort of unconventional ways. the way it's going to change the way you work with plugins, and how you approach creating music is pretty substantial and amazing.
from the info that's public right now, it's definitely difficult to get a clear idea of what the deal is, but you guys will be very pleased when the details are released at musikmesse. kore's a little wacky to wrap your head around initially, but the implications for workflow and working with sound are immensely kickass. good times. c |
Re: What is Kore?
I don't use enough plug-ins to justify any thing of the sort, currently. Just my Virus TI and Battery.
