Dirty Forums - new mix by me

ok...

so long story short, this mix was a total pain in the ass to do. Back around Christmas time, I was going to give my friends this really cool mix that I did with basically a lot of artwork and packaging done by myself.

I got about most of the artwork done, then started mixing... I wanted it to be a reaaaalllly long mix, spread over three discs. After continually being interupted, I finally got it done, but my computer kept freezing whenever it tried to write the file (b/c it was so big)

Then I had to re-do the entire mix over in smaller segments. But this sounded like crap, you could totally tell where the breaks were, and to me... it sounded disjointed. So then, I had to do the parts AGAIN, but tried to make them have more 'atmospheric' bits at the beginnings and endings... so it'd all somewhat flow together

...and yet it somehow compressed down to fit onto two cd's. I mean, I didn't end up using all the tracks that I originally had... but I didn't think I would've cut out about an hour's worth, you know?

so anyway (so much for long story short). I think I finally have it done. I honestly don't know if it's any good anymore... I'm just f-ing tired of it now, you know what I mean. I've heard these same tracks over and over again. And some of them, I threw in there more for my friends (like "check out this cool track")... which also means that some of them aren't so new.
