...this just hit me - wasn't BF going to be called "Tonight Matthew, we're going to be Underworld" ?

or am I just remembering this all incorrectly?

no, you're not wrong....

but it wasn't an homage to me or the other (door) Matts here...

it was a reference to the UK ITV show, Stars in Their Eyes, where the general public came on to sing and were transformed into the artist that they were going to mimic...

just before going through the door to be transformed, the host, a Matthew Kelly (lanky beardy bloke), would ask "who are you going to be tonight?"

and the person would go "Tonight Matthew i'm going to be...."

and they'd say Elvis or Cher or something, then come out of some smoke filled doors transformed into that person...and start singing (most were pretty good singers, but most looked nothing like the artsists...) (its still going but is now presented by Cat Deeley)

anyway, Underworld pulled the name due to the fact that they believed (rightly so) that the rest of the world would not get the joke / album name...

ahh, i have a CD-R with 'A Hundred Years' on it which has been crossed through and relabeled with the corret title... ;)

seems that they don't know whats going on...until the last minute
