Lyrics - Why Now...?
 

I read a long time ago that Karl had said that he didn't publish his Lyrics because he liked to leave them open to interpretation, and that they only published the Lyrics to Born Slippy because the meaning of the song was getting lost and that he wanted to show that it was an anti drinking song and not a lager anthem...

so,

why start publishing Lyrics now....?

not that its not nice, and saves us time deciphering them, its just a new move...i wondered why really...

and if KH is being generous can we have the correct lyrics to the entire back catalogue ;)


it would be funny to see how 'out' many of the suggested lyrics are from what they actually should be...

yeah, i finally got around to download the 'pizza for eggs' and
'lovely broken things' and was thinking the same thing..

it IS nice having the lyrics this time around...i wonder
how many more songs will have lyrics though?

i think generating interest in UW is, but making money not teh prime directive, although it is a business...and bills do need paying...

well, Karl seems to be responding to direct questions on the board via the UWlive diary quite regularly now. Wich is a good change as well :)
