very, very funny, very black thriller/buddy movie with robert downey jnr & val kilmer

one of the best films i've seen in a long time and a breath of fresh air compared to some of the fare served up by hollywood this year

yes, not all of it works but well worth going to see all the same

kilmer is fab as gay perry and downey jnr too turns in a great performance

a whole damn lot of fun - go see :)

indeed. everyone should go see it. it's not doing too well in the box office which sucks because it's a really good movie.

Yes indeed, everyone needs to go see this film.

I've already seen it twice and intend to take some unsuspecting friends to go see in the coming weeks.

Holy crap was this funny.

Robert Downey Jr. is one of the best actors ever. I mean, his characters always seem similar, unlike, say, Benitio Del Toro, but jesus christ the man can emote.

Similarities to The Singing Detective are kind of funny...Robert Downey Jr. in a pulp fiction style (the genre, not the film) P.I. story in which his character has odd ties to a character in a novel.

I would love for them to do another one of these. I'm trying to get more people to go.

Nice to see Val Kilmer do something funny...I don't think he has since Top Secret.

I'm looking forward to this one. Val's been on my see list since Willow and Downey Jr. can be an amazing actor when he just says no. Glad to hear this one get some good reviews.

top secret is one of my favourite films ever :)

i'm always surprised how so few people seem to have heard of it when everybody knows airplane/naked gun etc...:confused:
