I don’t think that Makuhari Messe track is derived from Rope. There’s some nominal similarity in the bass line and that’s it. Rope was performed live many, many times, and was always pretty consistent in its sonic elements and never sounded like that Makuhari Messe track.

As for Rick + Karl nodding, it sounds nothing like either Rope or the Makuhari track.

I mean something else to consider is that l notice live versions of tracks will not always sound like their studio mix counterpart due to how the hardware instruments is setup to play them manually.
