little britain series 3

what an utter pile of shit - critics seem to be wanking furiously over it - but it's bad beyond belief

edit: that wasn't exactly constructive criticism! the jokes are flat now - most characters are 1-trick ponies who struggled to fill series 2 with any originality. the new characters are pretty poor (piss-poor when it comes to the incontinent woman) watched the 2nd episode last night and couldn't believe how bad it was. the only thing i laughed at was lou and andy, as lou had a new trick, and the barfing tory woman, as that just tickles me.

it jumped the shark in series 2 IMHO, Rob Brydon script edited series 2 and it was awful, Mark Gatiss did series 1, make of that what you will.

I actually dont think series 3 is that bad.

i've only seen the first episode of series 3 and thought it was very poor

Have to agree it was disappointing. For me, the sketch that was the biggest let down (perhaps due to its hype?) was ting tong. If that passes for classic comedy, give me Little and Large instead. And I assume Walliams has used up his quota of new voices.

Incontinent old lady was also weak, we already have the Tory lady chucking up which offers a similar vein of humour but is far funnier and cleverer.

On the plus side (and to prove I'm not just going for high brow) the naked wrestling between Bubbles and her love rival in the first episode was classic, rounded off by a good one-liner from Brydon. :D
