just got the microsoft surface remix cover:

will be getting the tablet tomorrow to start experimenting on.

getting my idrum samples lined up, and some other
underworld ones too, like pearls girl.

should be fun to play with.

got my surface pro today,
and have been playing around all evening with it.

first had to charge the battery for a few hours. then another hour of upgrading everything to windows 8.1

then i finally got the music app, downloaded some other software and got things running.


there's a pretty steep learning curve. i downloaded several music packs with samples, but there
are no project files. you have to make your own.

it feels like a basic version of acid.

but with hardware support.

i can see the potential, but it's going to take time,
and a lot of practice.

i have loaded my own pearls girl samples into it as
a test. still need to tweak some settings.
