What's the cream of the crop of the releases on the Basic Channel/Chain Reaction label?

Well, there's a compilation of their 12" releases on CD, that's great. I also like the new Rhythm & Sound CDs, I've got the instrumental one and it's super great mad dub.

for the easy intro, pick up scion's "arrange and process basic channel tracks" on tresor. the actual BC CD is not a compilation of all their really good 12"s. it's closer to the really slow tripped out rhythm and sound stuff.

that said, my favorite releases from BC are:
quadrant - infinition b/w hyperprism (bc-qd, originally pressed on planet e with a crappy b-sides and a disappointing carl craig remix)
phylyps - trak (bc-02)
octagon / octaedre (forget the number)
vainqueur (half of scion) - lyot (maurizio mix) (also available on tresor's true spirit compilation)
