for some reason i have really enjoyed "empires" and "futureperfect" lately. must be the weather <shrug>

'empires' (in particular 'burning empires') will be my favorite album by them. can't begin to count all the times that i listened to that one on roat trips.

also, seeing these guys live is one of my guilty pleasures. the times i've seen them, it's pretty much a karaoke show with mark doing drums but sweet bastard, i had a lot of fun!

They do great live shows (saw them at Avalon last December). I think the karaoke bit is offset by the upbeat dance energy, you'll be too busy dancin' to notice. Ronan's also funny.

Off the topic slightly, NE1 here an Apop fan? They haven't had anything out for a while right?

agreed. i was out of breath from dancing by the time they finished up their set that i saw for the futureperfect tour. always the sign of a good show :)

yeah, word on the street is that this latest album is more along the lines of a 'rock-ish' album. i haven't heard anything off of this new one yet, but i certainly liked their stuff from '7' and 'welcome to earth'.
