Wow, this is interesting news. I just hope they get someone skilled as the director. Cos that can really make or break this movie (that and the script).

I love the Halo games, but we all know how "great" movies-that-are-based-on-games always turn out to be. Maybe this would finally break that norm.

As long as it won't be Uwe Boll directing... :D

Whilst my Halo heritage is limited, I can't see this being a bad choice after all. He could remake Aliens with a different backstory and costumes and I'd be spunking all over the place.

Do you think someone with Cameron's ego would direct Halo? Me neither.

I think it'll go down to some uprising action director who isn't a household name yet. I'd vote for Doug Liman, but i'm quite sure it won't be him either.

Let's hope for the best.

EDIT: MY BAD! He is not directing?? Just Executive Producer? Oh well....Peter Jackson is still cool then. :)
