Portishead Tour?

A friend said he heard that somewhere, but I'm sure this news would have spread like wildfire if it were true.

Does this mean their album is complete and they're going to be touring the new material?

I WISH!!!!! Unfortunately, they're site only consists of a discussion room. I found this link: http://www.portishead.co.uk/forum/p.htm?p=509I could cry because I never got the chance to see them. They make the most beautiful I have ever heard (second only to Underworld...of course:) ) I watch the DVD at least once a week. Such passion, and raw emotion in her voice.

Last I read they were working on their new material. I do believe I found that on the official website (in winter maybe), so Portishead's may not be quite so dead....

Re: Portishead Tour?

yea - and there were also rumours that the album had been, yes as in 'already done' in Australia a few years ago

...and there was more buzz when they performed w/ Massive Attack not too long ago - and were like 'well, we took off some time for Christmas' and that the new album was nearly finished

I'm just saying that long delays don't mean a band is through. I mean New Order was "over" and "dead" after Republic. Then lo and behold, Get Ready came out. Not a bad album either.
