Glasgow recommendations?
So I received an "unconditional" offer at the Glasgow School of Art
and it looks like I might actually be able to make the move and get my MFA there...!!! but I still have to hear back about this one scholarship deal, and I have to find a reasonable place to live before I can officially accept. What I was wondering is (if there's anyone that knows the area) - what are good or bad areas to live in? I'm starting the apartment search today, and I don't want to find a "great inexpensive place" only to find out that like... it's in the middle of a slum |

Don't listen to him^ :p
If you can swing a flat in Partick or the West End you'll be within walking distance of most of the better afterparties you find yourself at. I'm happy to give you a steer on any areas you suggest. By the way you'll love the Art School, awesome place. |
Re: Glasgow recommendations?
The Glasgow School of Art is one of the most beautiful building I ever saw, and I remember having spent lots of great evenings in places like the Sub Club, the Arches and the Bar 10.
