State of the Union 2010
 

Personally, I'm looking forward to how this year's State of the Union address will be played. I keep hearing more and more calls for Obama and the Democrats in general to take control of the current climate through a strong offense. And judging by people like Elizabeth Warren who launched a scathing attack on Wall Street and bank CEOs last night on the Daily Show, the gloves may be starting to come off.

Anyway, I can't imagine that a man as intelligent and articulate as Obama would let a national stage like the State of the Union pass by without fully capitalizing on it.

I fear no matter what he says, the speech tonight will go down about as well as the iPad (#iTampon is currently number 2 trending topic on Twitter). Will follow it with interest/hope, but he has to do more than perform great oratory. It will all hang on the promises.
