old school..
hello dirties! been a long time and a while since i posted here. :)
just wanted to celebrate myself finally framing my giagantic 10.5 year old concert poster! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4044/...9b2a134b61.jpg i grabbed that thing off a wall and danced up and down with it a decade ago. since then its been up and down on walls as i moved from place to place, it practically grew up with me (from 19 to 30!). it rested in a tube stashed in a closet for the past few years, but im thrilled to see it rise again like a giant blue phoenix! its so messed up looking but i adore every crease, rip, tear, hole and tape mark on it! :) whats also interesting (but cant be seen due to reflection) is a picture of the world trade center at the bottom.. which just happened to be the logo of the local poster manufacturer. different times. |
Re: old school..
Nice one, Malt! Yeah, Beaucoup over a decade ago? Still my favorite UW record and i really like the simplicity of the artwork on the LP and singles.
Good for your for saving that poster! Dig your lamp, too! |

Re: old school..
Nice one! Got some Beaucoup Fish-era posters framed in my house as well:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/3333689...7622881944913/ It was kind of difficult to get them all on one photograph, but you'll get the picture :) Yesterday I recieved two frames to place my CD's on the wall, which are pretty great IMO: http://www.flickr.com/photos/3333689...7622881944913/ Now I can finally show all the discs I collected over the years :) |
