Jakarta gig cancelled because of July bombings
 

Dear all,

After lengthy discussions with Underworld, they have no alternative but to cancel the show in Jakarta.
This decision has not been taken lightly, but after much consideration.
Underworld, along with their close associates, family, wives and children, are insistent that they must not undertake this performance given the tragic events of July 17th.
may be some of you are not aware that Underworld was previously the subject of a brutal attack, in Greece, which left Rick injured and in hospital, so they, along with their relatives, are particularly concerned about them being put in harms way.

Let’s see how the situation in Jakarta settles down in the future and we can reschedule.

This really sucks that its cancelled because I planned a whole holiday around that gig and even went into the travel agents today to get a price quote. Good thing I didnt book the flights... Luckily I'm planning on visiting Singapore also so now i'll have to reschedule and try to fit that date in instead.

Yer I thought it got pulled due to that happening over there. I'm still clinging on to some sort of Thailand gig when I'm over there. Looking less likely now though,
