shamanix hallucinogen - having a bit of a nostalgia trip today with this full throttle psychedelic acid-trance work out - ideal for soundtracking racing video games...:)

does anyone actually READ this thread? or do people just post the name of the track they are listening to. Doesnt tell me anything. I stopped reading it about a year ago becuase of this. Occasionally you get someone like Tyler who writes 1 line about each track and provides a link which is how it should be done though, which is laudable.

An-2 - Alma Del Mundo (Theomatic)

(sublime lead synth on this)

Double X - A:live LP (Kanzleramt)

Incredible full length LP from Alexander Kowalski & Torsten Litschko. Varied sounds of pumping techno.

Secondo - The Night - (Drkec)

One side is a cheeky cut up of George Benson's 'Gimme the Night' akufen style, and the other is a cool Schaffel track

Fair point, lets do what Tyler does today its.

DJ Scotch Egg - Scotch Attack

He's a Japense student i think who's associated with Shitmant and the Wrong Music record label, he makes kind of breakcore/gabba style stuff but the selling point is that all of the stuff is mostly made from gameboy samples and his obsession with KFC, the album is called KFC Core. Samples of two tracks hear:

Watch out, it's the thread police.

I figure if someone's gone to the trouble to post a message, it's because a track has had an impact on them, and if it's someone whose taste I respect, I go off and check it out, if I don't know it already.

So yes, I read it.

and what about the people who's taste you know nothing of? it may seem as though im criticising people for not writing anything other than the title and artist, but i was also applauding the people who write more. i wasnt ordering anyone to do anything, but writing a one line description doesnt take much does it? we cant all be mind readers.
