This is a perfect opportunity for some good old improvisation rather than the predictability we have become accustomed to. If it doesn't happen here I doubt it will ever happen again.

Absolutely. I'm hoping/expecting it will be similat to the Rijksmuseum show. Gutted I can't make it.

A thought I've been thinking.

When we refer to 'improv' we mean all the little unexpected bits. Bridges between songs, little interludes, or unexpected versions of songs that may not actually have been improvised. For example, I highly doubt the renditions of Rez/Cowgirl from the Roundhouse 2007 shows were entirely improvised, but they would absolutely fall under the umbrella of what we're referring to.

I suspect when they hear improv, they take it VERY literally to mean entirely improvised sections, which I'd imagine they've not done in at least 15 years. I don't think the Peel session was mostly off the cuff, for example.

Back on topic of this show, I would actually be surprised if it *wasn't* in the vein of the Amsterdam show, including unexpected or unknown bits in between the well defined current festival numbers.

I think so too - definitely something unusual
It hasn't been announced on UWlive yet so they are probably going to revamp / relaunch the website once again.
Crossing my fingers for an official release after this event

Well, hoping for another special show like last year's Rijksmuseum show then:

It's too bad that instagram destroys image quality, can't see much. :/ TMO, KOS, and Low burn are the only tags I can make out, nothing on any of the screens either.

Does anyone have any idea what time Underworld are likely to be playing?
