Definitely gives off Globe/Holding the Moth vibes in the first act...the bass and vocal delivery both.

Yup, comments are spot-on here. Sounds like old Underworld, and definite Holding the Moth and Play Pig vibes. If they told us that this was an old RiverRun track that they had dug up, I'd believe it.

Even the title is a throwback to racetrack dogs (image from mailing list e-mail)?

Another one I like quite a lot. Weirdly short. For a band known for long songs, they cut some great ones off too quickly. Ova Nova stands out as the most glaring example of that; it just fades out of nowhere.

The more I listen to this, the more intrigued i am at the prospect of a longer, fleshed-out version. It's a strange track, really like two ideas smashed together. The transition is stark at 1:31, like a different loop got triggered, oops, so bring back in the bassline at 2:01 to try to tie it back together. But it's all really grooving at the end, like it's destined to become a Moaner techno monster. And then, it just ends! Really weird.
I hope this is an in-progress piece that gets refined and re-released.

Vocal delivery has vibes of Twenty Three Blue for me - this and Toluca Stars are perfect Karl, the less sing-y the better.

This track was shaping up to be my favorite on the album. I thought for sure we'd get a LONGER track but ironically we got a shorter one. Weird.

iTunes did something funny to my original file (it shortened it to the length of the shorter version when I added last week's download). Does anyone still have a copy of the 2:51 version that was originally released that they could upload somewhere? I've deleted the email.
