did this get an official release... i cannot see it anywhere just the 2014 version - did they appear on it at all... i have heard the HC remix...

Yeah, the UW remix never got released, though it was definitely worked on, as Karl mentioned it in an interview or something.

UW appeared in the 2014 singalong in the sense that Karl sang with them (and he was billed as "Underworld").

are on the new upcoming ULTRA vinyl boxset from depeche mode:

i can't remember where i got it from, there was a charity site that had it. and its part of the huge
extras download for the drift boxset.
