I was wondering what they were going to do during that big break in dates.

Wow, I can't imagine Tasmania ever gets much of anything, so this festival must be exicitng for them. And that website is, uh, something else.

Yes they do. They have a couple of stream, 2 main stages. But not all is streamed, then they do reruns. There's also higher quality streams for clients of a local telecom provider. And there's telly, Canvas is the public broadcaster transmitting loads. And of course radio, StuBru or Studio Brussel also with a radio/live cuts stream.

.. and I just bought my second, as I had already bought a day ticket for the saturday. Now I just have to cross just about everything I possibly can, that they get a late night slot, as I won't be able to make it to the festival site until 7-8'ish pm.

It says "exciting news" including new shows. So, I wonder what the news is. We know they were planning 2 more EP's and a possible album. Maybe it's the announcement of the album? Or, I wonder if there's a change to their Drift plans? The announcement comes 2 days before the start of the next episode, so I wonder if it's related to that.

dunno if the website changed, but it says "exciting updates" not "exciting news".
I'm taking a few things from this.
First, exciting updates is plural. There will be more than one.
2nd, the link on the website is from the ticket pre-sale. there has to be some form of tour/show.
Personally, I don't think it changes anything about the drift series. It is an extension of this.
