anyway...

Re: anyway...
ouch, i see what you mean.
looks like the toon will be without a point after their first four games of the season then... :p |
Re: anyway...
hopefully we'll get three points in the first game then, unlike last season when it took us three games to get that many points....
|
Re: anyway...
Na, we'll win the first game. Man U will still be upset over Ronaldo leaving;)
|
Re: anyway...
has adebayor gone yet? In know 2 metre pete is off to pompey - but can't keep up.
Kaka seems to be in two teams at once. as it were. Ronaldo had surgery - did Alex give him a bitch slap and tell him to stop moaning? |
Re: anyway...
all smoke and mirrors and bored journo's right now, it seems...
hank lampard's off to inter... ade's off to ac... drog's off to inter... god knows about slack-jaw... oh; and the bin-laden's are buying the toon. bored cockerney journo's - don't you love 'em |
Re: anyway...
Scolari says Drog's "200%" a part of his plans for Chelsea, and Lamp said he desired to stay last time I checked :p
|
Re: anyway...
Is Ade really worth more than 20m quid? Is he better than Eto'o (he sure is less mouthy)?
|
Re: anyway...
last quote I saw was that the Arsenal are valuing him at 36 million quid.
Which is insane - seeing he's had one good season. Barca are in need of a striker though. So if they're willing to pay 30 million - then I'd take the cash. It's not like Henry was much good for Barcelona - and I'd take Henry at the top of his form over Adebayor. but yeah - it's all a bit dull and boring trying to keep up with transfer rumors. |
Re: anyway...
Adebeyour is not worth 36 quid let alone 36m - either the arsenal are stupid or the club wanting him are - he's a good player but for FUCKS sake...
even Ronaldo isn't worth £36m but he can fuck off now for whatever we can get for him, if he thinks playing for United is slavery, let him play without a contract elsewhere... because i think he'll find that a bit difficult - i was all for the beenfit of the doubt for Ronaldo - not now though - greedy twat |
Re: anyway...
welcome to how everybody else has always viewed him - and sepp twatter...
what the fuck is the president of fifa doing going about undermining correct transfer processes? (surely no backhanders involved, eh?) |

Re: anyway...
The arse aren't stupid - they're just trying to pay for that big bloody stadium of theirs.
Although I see today - AC are saying they've got another half at half the 30million. I dunno - like I said - if they can get decent coin - let him go. I'd rather have players that want to be there. similar to the ronaldo situation. Speaking of stupid clubs - it is Barca and AC Milan wanting Adebayor... so stupidity makes sense really. Quote:

Re: anyway...
today; lampard's staying, drogba's staying; spurs are selling berbatov and keane, whilst offering robinson as part of a swap deal and buying beckham - ronaldinho's going to chelsea suddenly...
oh; and slack-jaw's dumped his, ahem, 'girlfriend' (cough)... |

Re: anyway...
ronaldhino's off to AC milan I thought. why he'd want to be at man city is beyond me.
Gilberto away to Greece. Beckham off to the hairdresser to get some highlights sorted And Rog to the pub. again. |

Ronaldinho , the only football player who can eat a tomato through the strings of a tennis racquet should not go to city.......he would only end up disappointed...... |

well; with the noises apparently coming out of the madrid team that they don't want him anyway, maybe we'll find out...

he has to do some arse licking to get back his favour even if fergies says he's staying - he has to make a lot of feelings clear, and emphasis the truth |

Re: anyway...
This is my laugh for the day:
Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul has been linked with a move to wearyside, a rumour that his agent Rudy Raba was very quick to rubbish as no more than rebel-rousing: “Younes wouldn’t join Sunderland even if there was an earthquake - we have more interesting options than Sunderland. Don’t even think about it." |
Re: anyway...
he's about the right standard for the toon:p:D
.don't they specialise in buying shite defenders? |

Re: anyway...
its gonna be interesting this season to see how he gets on with the home fans...
i'm not picking him in my fantasy team out of principle although i will cheer every goal he scores - obviously ... he's certainly not my favourite player at the moment.... |
Re: anyway...
...he's already on the suck-up - 'greatest fans, place in my heart, sir alex like a father, blah blah blah blah'
|
Re: anyway...
Madrid weather is awful.... I prefer Manchester's.... not a tapa, fish and chips.... obrigado.... some more carling if you don't mind... cheers mate, ta mate...
|
Re: anyway...
looks like they missed slack-jaw as well - from 6-0 to 1-1 against the toon...
|
Re: anyway...
and so - after a summer of telling man u how much he doesn't want to play for them, slack is greeted by, boos? derision? tapas? nah - the predicted adoration of 700000 goldfish...
|
Re: anyway...
....and they still couldn't win! not a very good start to the season for them is it? especially after last saturday! Watched that game in Ibiza with a very fuzzy head and it was very enjoyable indeed:D
|
Re: anyway...
been to ibiza, have you?
|
Re: anyway...
yes mate, the weather and drinking were very good indeed;). Watched the england/croatia game there as well - good party atmosphere in the middle of the west end in San antonio (although i wasn't staying there, its very tacky and the beer aint the best. Stayed in a nice villa in san joan at the north end of the island, recommended)
