Segues track from Footwear. Name?
 

Was just watching the Footwear Repairs again and there's an awesome bit of music between Spoonman and Dark Train vids. It's a beautiful ambient, spaced out trip of bleeps.

I've always wondered if this piece had a name, if it was produced just for the video or if it was an idea that UW were working on, but it was never finished or released. (Karl, any help?)

I love it and really dig when they do ambient stuff like 'To Heal' and 'Ansum'.

it's a VHS collection of most/all* their music videos up to "Moaner"

*not counting stuff like - the version of NUXX where the video has clips from "Trainspotting"; it just has the 'normal' version without the movie clips (so ...it's better)

I also loved that segue. If memory serves, it's part of one of the Cowgirl mixes...Irish Pub in Kyoto? Winjer mix? memory's not really serving, but i think parts of one of these Cowgirl mixes appear briefly on Footwear Repairs...i think it's the bleepy bit you're referring to.

That is the bit between Spikee and Spoonman.
I have never recognised the segue between Spoonman and Dark Train anywhere else... I guess it was made just for Kiteless/Footwear Repairs.

fab video by the way, should defo be reissued on dvd, but i know there's a problem with tvt or something.....

inst 3 is part of Most 'ospitable. It's straight Dark Train into Most 'ospitable as on the UK single.
I've heard vocoder inst 4 on the ECG bootleg before Rez.

Are the Pearl's Girl and Banstyle videos somewhere else available (in physical form)?

btw, the videos are all on myspace. I wonder who digitized them. The quality isn't very good though, I'd like to see a DVD of them all at some point in the future!

My footwears vid arrived courtesy of Amazon.com marketplace a few weeks ago - of course, being NTSC format, I couldn't play it! So, thanks to my local digi photo/media lab I now have a shiny new dvd conversion - and it's just great:). However, the dvd case bears a soppy pic of a happily married couple with the title "Your treasured home videos transfered onto dvd!" Yuk!! For starters I'm a gay man. So, I need to design a cover for myself. Unfortunately, I am not a designer - I'm a book craftsman. I can do crimbo cards ok but that's all. So, any suggestions would be very welcome.

TVT is the problem. basically the rights are a big complicated mess and it's unlikely they'll ever be untangled.

that's why you should keep your eyes peeled for a very nicely remastered fan-authored DVD. ;)

If this happens, i'll be able to watch "Spikee" over and over without the annoying whirrrrrr of the VCR rewinding, which always fills me with dread that the tape will be ruined.
