new interview - the dirty reaction
karl certainly says a lot in the interview:eek:
http://www.dirty.org/underworld/news.php more than what has been said in a lot of other recent interviews, why now? 100-150 tracks? woah, maybe they should release a mp3 cd. |
Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
interseting indeed...i wonder when this bloomin' album is coming...everything seems to be done, cover, (title?), 100+ tracks...its all there...
maybe they have too many tracks in the vaults to choose...maybe they are still sorting out a distribution deal... i can feel something coming soon though....be patient friends...it will be worth it when it pops out ;) |

Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
imagine if these songs were the average uw length which must be like 7 or 8 minutes...
that is like 17 hours of music!!! holy crappers |
Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
Karl sez: "...finished the album cover that has always been a trademark of ours"
Is there an Underworld trademark? Something they've been sitting on for years? Or maybe the freur squiggle is coming back?:D 100-150 songs?! Dang! But if music is your life, of course you make lots of it! Glad they are still super inspired to write together! |
Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
i think the trademark uw cover is an interesting/different/unique piece of tomato design isn't it?

Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
I wonder if there is going to be the tangible record for sale in the shops, but then there is also going to be the plethora of other recordings and pieces of the album that are only available via the internet, as rick and karl have been going on recently about how it's time to start trying new ideas they have and executing them, most likely without the constraints of a record company.
What is going to happen? |

Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
well you can sure speculate about what kind of form(s) any new releases will take. If they want to release 150 tracks, it's obvioulsy not gonna fit on a cd, so maybe they'll have a special webservice with a pay per download system, perhaps along with a "proper" album release.

Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
Maybe a 6 discs album special box set, or 24 12"
|
Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
It's just what I always asked for... the 5 dvdset with outtakes/vaultgems ;)
(I hope!) |
Re: new interview - the dirty reaction
I hope that the artwork will be as beautiful as the Stiti one. Or Beaucoup Fish, I love that circle...
