Just a quick question:
How long are my fellow US'ers finding it takes to receive the discs in the mail after they've shipped?

My first batch back in Oct/Nov were like 3 weeks after 'dispatched' but I thought that was just due to the then-ongoing postal strike. This current batch has just hit the 14 day mark. Is that normal?

It's been about the same for me. I haven't been keeping track on the current batch (I've ordered, but I'm not rabidly checking the mailbox like before). But yeah, the discs I ordered in November took about a month to arrive.

Took about 3 weeks last time. I'm not expecting this batch to arrive before the end of next week.

Just to warn anyone. My Koln discs is just disc 1 twice! Although on the print it says disc two but it is disc one again :(

Oh that sucks (about the Koln discs.)

I guess that's what I expected. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't the only one who was waiting 3+ weeks. Knowing that everyone is waiting, makes me more comfortable knowing they aren't lost. Everyday I get home from work is a potential christmas morning!

So I guess the postal strike that was happening during the first batch wasn't the cause of the delivery delay. Thats good and bad news :P

3 weeks and still eagerly waiting. LHN needs an option for UPS/FedEx delivery. I'd gladly shell the extra cash.

PM box is cleared. My mailbox is sadly also clear... still no discs. There was a time when everything took 6-8 weeks for delivery. The internet has ruined me. I simply can't wait to hear these sets!! :D

FUCK! well the good news is that I got my discs in the mail! Yay. The bad news is that my Koln discs are Disc 1 music on both discs. Boo! If i take a picture of me with my discs would anyone be willing to help me out here? *nudge* :D

My discs arrived. My Köln case had no discs in it. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad.

I made a joke after realizing my koln discs were fucked: " I'm scared to put my Brussels discs in. Hehe" well I was just foreshadowing I guess. Blankity blank.

Uh-oh. Koln and Brussels are the 2 discs I ordered. It will be another 1 or 2 weeks before they arrive, but this worries me. Keep us updated on how cooperative LiveHereNow is, please.

Blank brussels disc 2 here, too. My Koln disc 2 seems to be okay though, by some small miracle. Haven't heard back from LHN yet.

yeah, i havent heard a peep from LHN. I emailed them at hello@liveherenow.co.uk, help@liveherenow.co.uk and through their web-contact form which doesn't seem to actually submit anything.

Other than this mass amount of problematic CD's, the shows are amazing and the sound quality is a level about the bootleg-babies' wildest dreams ;P

Have any of you guys had any success getting replacement discs from LiveHereNow? My copy of the Brussels gig arrived earlier in the week and now I've started to enjoy it I notice that the disc skips really badly for the last couple of minutes on 'Jumbo' on CD1.

I finally got mine on Saturday 3/1/08. 21 days exactly.
All seems OK, except the 1/31/08 gig. Looks like it got munched in transit. The Plastic part of the case was smashed to pieces and some of those pieces scratched the crap out of disc 2. :(
But disc one is fine. Half is better than none I guess.

Got mine on Saturday and, if iTunes is correct, the discs appear to be fine. I've only listened to Koln disc 1 so far. (sounds like the boys messed up a bit during the middle of Peach Tree:o )
One thing (and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere):
Disc 2 of the Amsterdam HMH show has Moaner split into 2 tracks and there's no Spoonman, though it's listed on the setlist here:

It doesn't sound like anything's missing, so maybe this was on the setlist but not played? Does anyone know?

Time to order the new Roundhouse gigs, then...and the Oblivion Ball. Is HMV the cheapest/fastest way for that one?

You are correct.

Yeah, pretty much. Everyone's had good experiences with HMV, and they're pretty much the same price as ordering it anywhere else.

got my response today as i said in the stickied post that Yannick made. They were very apologetic for the mistaken discs and are taking care of the problem for the unfortunate few who got the bad batch.
