"Slippy" megamix
 

Ok, i'm sure someone has done this before, but not in this exact way...
i always wanted to try this and i finally found the time!
A mix of the various versions of Underworld's "Born Slippy".
I only utilized the mixes that UW produced (no remixers, bootlegs, etc). Interesting that most are ~140 bpm, despite the vast differences in atmosphere from the NUXX we all know.

A couple of these tracks are of lesser sonic quality (captured internet streams), so the mp3 encoding is appropriate. To really appreciate these mixes, go out and buy the originals!

This has been on my phone-cum-mp3-player for the last years and still gets regular rotation. I love the inclusion of Karl's Ode to Cardiff which - shame on me - I hadn't heard before your mix. It works particularly well on train and metro rides and gives me the goosebumps every time.

Cheers, Froopy - thanks for re-uploading this thing. Wow, over 4 years ago i made this mix, i feel old(er)! I have the mix burned to a C somewhere, don't think i have it in digital format anymore...
Maybe i should try another UW mix of some sort soon...

If someone is to re-upload, please use mediafire (or perhaps the RTSR tracker? Though its usually reserved for live stuff, it does host the Dubno DAT tape).

Oh wow...it's going on 6 years since i mixed this! Glad that it still has some appeal. I've long since deleted the original mixed file (did it in Sony Acid way back in 2008), but i have a CD of this and will rip and reupload soon...

Ok, here it is, re-re-re-uploaded almost 6 years after i made this mix! Hey, it's ~17 years on from Born Slippy (whew, times fly). As mentioned, i ripped this from a CD, and a couple of the tracks were mp3 sourced to begin with, so if the sonic quality's not great, well, it is what it is...go buy/download the originals! Anyway, hope you enjoy my mix
