_underworld_history_mixes_
just for fun,
i've been going back over a lot of the earlier underworld material....its interesting to the see the progression they went through.. i've made a set of mixes covering each era, and will be releasing them shortly.. ============================= lemon interupt , early underworld /mmm skyscraper dubnobasswithmyhead / cowgirl singles / dirty epic dark and long / born slippy singles born slippy / pearls girl singles second toughest in the infants / pearls girls singles i haven't gotten to these yet: ---------------------------- beaucoup fish / king of snake / push upstairs / jumbo / bruce lee a hundred days off / two months off / dinosaur 3d i'll let you know once they're ready.. i had originally done some of the dubno mixes as my 2nd ever mix, and the pearls girl/ born slippy was my first.. way back in 1997 - and that was mixing from cd-cd without any fancy pitch blending etc...it'll be nice to compare them again someday.. later -1 |

add :
1 new turntable +1 new computer (+ finding old mixing software that actually works under VISTA, + new version of soundforge 9....) + 19 inch monitor + 32 inch HDTV as secondary monitor + many, many dvd backups of files + new headphones + lots of times = many new mixes (+ inspiration from seeing them live, new material, etc...) |
