I'm usually slow on the uptake musically, so I'm looking to you awesome people for great to must-have albums of the year. New albums, artist albums, preferably. Let me know what I'm missing. I'll buy you a beer.*

I feel like I'm forgetting a few releases (most of this is just the stuff I've been listening to within the past week or so), so I'll probably add a few tomorrow

I've been really digging the Boys Noize album, at least worthy of the mantle of the: new - new - new - "new Daft Punk" label. Although, I will say, that it works better as a set of tracks, than an 'album' - as I'd imagine it'd be pretty damn hard to listen to it straigh through, b/c it's so heavy

The National - Boxer (maybe monolithic at the first listen, but the more you listen the more you like this, light & dark at the same time)

Kattoo - Hang on to a Dream

Slightly cheating as this is from December 2006 not 2007, but it's an amazing album that almost nobody knows (his site give sales figures of 351).
