Live Broadcast?
 

Seems there is going to be a live Broadcast Monday the 8th at 2pm GMT. Seeing as how that's 6 am for me who will be recording and posting? :D

how did it work in the past? is it via underworldlive or dirtyradio? do i need to download flash or some obscure media player beforehand?

I recorded the last Lemonworld broadcast and I'll probably be doing the same this time around. The only thing that sucks is that Monday is my day off and I have to force myself to crawl out of bed bright and early at 5AM. Eurgh.

Just noticed they'll be previewing the latest Phonestrap & Autotrader during this. Nice.

Looks like I'll be getting up at 4 AM that day!

Sounds like it's probably just be an MP3 stream, not a QuickTime broadcast.

hopefully when they say "2pm ... we hope" they mean sometime after 3:30, because that's when I'll be home .. :)

hm. Does it start in 1 hour or 2?

The front page says 2 PM GMT, but the links page says 2 PM UK time (which is on Summer Time, no?)

Just tuned in using VLC Player (it can save the stream directly!)

Some nice Dub Reggea - maybe a Pricey warm up ?

Those "QuickTime reference movie" links aren't actually active yet. The "zip" file you're currently getting is a 404 error from the site's CMS.

Use Open NetworkStream (CTRL-N) , select rtsp protocol an paste the link from the site:
rtsp://a140.l10230139.c102.g.lq.akamaistream.net/D/140/102/v0001/reflector:30139

as I stated above, you can also save the stream directly to disk.

The server is darktrain.org (or 64.246.28.127), default port (6667).
