What is it about The Music Feels Better With You by Stardust (aka Thomas Bangalter)?

How can I listen to it all these years later and still get goosebumps like the very first time I heard it? At the time it was so different to all the other mainstream dross that was coming out. Can't describe it really. Just... something about it.

i agree with you here. it's repetitive and simple and more than a bit cheesy yet i still love to hear it after all these years. there are associations with the song now that give it more meaning but it's been one of those songs i always enjoy hearing.

that's most likely just bangalter's magic touch... also benjamin diamond's vocals add nicely to the song.

msbwu has "aged" so well because it is a great song, simple as that.

yeah it had a spiced up beat but the same sounds, but instead of the original vocals it had some of the One More Time vocals.

i was in the front-middle of the field at HMH :) and yeah it seems that a lot of vids that i've seen on youtube missed out on the lights as they were projected from the front...

Heh. That actually was the first record I ever bought. :D My second was Musical Youth's debut, which forced me after that to have to listen to a complete record to find out if I liked it. ;)
