ok we've not had a poll for a while... ;)

and well we know what the new album's gonna be called... so lets see what we think of it...

personally i think its typical Underworld, and no doubt will be the point of music journo's first questions when interviewing the band... 'why've you called the album Oblivion with Bells'?

but i'm not sure about it 100%, i like it, as its different, but its not my favourite of the album titles that have gone before...

i suppose coming up with album titles is more difficult than even song titles... and it's not going to detract from the actuual music...

lets see what we think then...

I don't think we will understand the relevance until we hear the album. Or maybe we won't even then.

I'm pretty sure Orblivion was someone other than Underworld ;-)

Speaking of someone other than Underworld, has anyone heard Fujiya & Miyagi? Excellent stuff and their influences are very similar to Underworld's.

Please note I'm not associated with them in any way and this isnt a shameless plug, I'm just wondering if anyone else knows them yet!

matt broke up with underworld and then underworld got a new haircut as a pretty transparent way to get over matt. now matt says the new haircut makes underworld look like one of his other ex's, the Orb. the orb don't have hair. here's where the story ends.

Bells are audible, in the background, at the beginning of "All These Things;" at least, you could hear them when UW played it at the Cocoon club. If the album has a title track, I'm betting that ATT will be renamed "Oblivion (with bells)."

Though, it would be cool if they kept "All These Things (In Me)" as the title. Fan-created titles FTW.

Kind of a yin-yang thing with this: Oblivion sounds negative/dark. but "With bells" makes it sound cheery/happy/welcomed.

Like, "we greet the coming oblivion with chiming bells!"

Then again, it couyld just be nonsense words like the rest. At least the Lp isn't titled "Pizza for eggs" :rolleyes:

it's a great title. and if it was the first mk2 album it'd be cool. but my fave is second toughest in the infants :)

however, sod the title i think the tunes on this new one is gonna blow us all away :D

i think the title is great, even though it is the 3/4th best one they gots:

dubno and stiti are amazing

then ahdo and this one are pretty cool, but a bit odd

and beaucoup fish blows imo


and ya, who gives a sod! i wanna hear tuuuunes!
