i couldnt imagine not hearing a single played on the radio to gain interest in a newly dropping album.

that said, are UW still on a label? are they on their own?

Oh,
i was thinking that they said that they will stay with JBO as long as it will be good for them. Will they go to some major like Leftfield did?

They say on UWlive today that the OST will take the major part of their time till 2006, so can we hope the new album this year...

"Where is the "who cares?" option? If its new UW material then i'm happy."

no, Junior Boys Own is Steve Hall's label...he signed Underworld in 1991/2

their contact with JBO has now expired...and Karl has stated that they are sorting out something for the new release...i assume as soon as that is done we will get some kinda release date, as they have the tracks, the cover designed, and just need some way of releasing it...(unless its not coming on cd/vinyl....which i doubt)...either way until the publishing rights are finalised then we won't have a date...

Junior Boys Own are still going, but just won't be releasing the new Underworld stuff, although Steve is still mates with the band, as he was at the early sessions listening to 'new sounds'...i just think Underworld are a bit far away from what JBO are doing now with their 'house' sounds...

thanks for the clearing up...

i have been slightly worrying that the new albumn wouldn't be on cd either... cause they have talked about how they want to experiment with how they get it out... but hopefully that means a normal cd but maybe sell some of their 100+ tracks online somewhere
