Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
Subject says it all. 3 tracks so far.
Any thoughts on "This Race"? Underworld track? Darren Price track? Someone else? I'm thinking maybe Darren Price. It has that same "vwoooop" sample as "Circus Faker" and even the rest of the song sounds superficially similar to "Circus Faker." It has shades of "Morrocan Meatballs" too. Interesting that they didn't post Track 1, "All These Things." Is it being saved for the album? As best as I can determine here is the setlist for Moscow. Unknown gaps (unknown number and content of songs) indicated by "???" 1. Crocodile - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_zRrX5ACTw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fR_zWY8YhZY 2. This Race 3. Mmm, Skyscaper...I Love You 4. 5 Foot 5 5. Nu Train 6. Borialis (currently on Pricey's MySpace) 7. Cowgirl/Rez 8. ??? 9. Mo Move 10. Juanita 11. Shake That Higher ??? King of Snake ??? Pearl's Girl (not sure on placement) ??? Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Vocal) Two Months Off ??? Born Slippy .NUXX 2003 ??? ------- Encore------ Moaner Jumbo This was a 3 hour concert, BTW. |
Re: Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
I'm devastated!
Just downloaded the first 3 tracks, only to discover that they're numbered 2, 3 and 4. This wouldn't normally bother me that much, but the missing first track just happens to be "All These Things" which I've been in love with since Cocoon! And now all I get is 15 seconds of frustration at the start of "This Race". Oh woe is me. |
Re: Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
oh woe is everyone. i haven't even heard the cocoon set. totally have no idea what i'm missing out on, only know that people loved it.

It didn't really come from any song, all the spoken word stuff is just spoken word, which is used over anything and everything.

It's interesting to see the same samples used again, stuff from 1998-1999 popping up in 2005-2006. |
Re: Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
Karl uses a couple of cdrs with spoken word and other samples in his pioneer CDJ on stage. Fires of samples and plays with them during some tracks.

Re: Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
Moaner and Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Vocal) videos were posted to the archive today. Between the audio and video posted, I have over half the shows already. :)

Re: Moscow 2006 audio now in Archive
Yeah, i can't trick WinZip into extracting all files or manually extracting it, because it claims the 13 MB file has nothing in it or is not a valid format.
Has anyone had success with this? i.e. heard the track? If so, how'd you unzip it? |

That (smugly) said, in my limited testing on a PC, neither the build-in Zip decompression in XP nor 7-Zip could handle this file with the funky name. You're best off grabbing it at BrotherLovesDub's link until it can be reloaded on the Archive. |
