I've been listening a lot lately to releases from Clone Rotterdam and I'm starting to enjoy that cheesy Italo Disco sound. I don't really know where to start looking for the classics though. I know Giorgio Moroder, and I know artists like Legowelt are influenced by this sound. So I need recommendations :D

They have a killer all-italo web-radio stream. They used to host mixes too, but I can't seem to find them. Anyway if they're still on the site, RUN DON'T WALK and download the two I-F 'mixed up in the hague' mixes. They're absolutely essential

Also look out for Miko Mission, Laserdance (More NRG/Spacesynth than Italo, but similar cheezy goodness), and please please track down "Watch Out" by Doctor's Cat. Felix sampleled it for the last track off of his latest album. The actual song is much better. IM me and I could work something out with you.

A good place to start looking really is to hit up all the youtubes italo videos, and go from there. 'Orient Express' by Wish Key is 80s-tastic.

Ok Smartass. Name 2 better Italo mixes. Any reason why those mixes made you want to inflict harm? The perfect track selection? The perfect beatmatching that was done with actual vinyl? Maybe you just don't like Italo, in which case, you should get the fuck off a thread called "The Italo Disco Thread".

Please Master Eikman, please point us to the real deal Italo mixes. Certainly if Mixed Up In The Hague makes you want to jab your earholes you have better mixes on your HD. Go on then, share what you know.
