Re: best of 2006 sofar
For me, it was the lemonworld broadcast and especially the version of Pearls Girl:) With the perfect stereo sound, courtesy of the Dutch radio station and the forever updating webcam, it was like a private u/w gig in my flat.

Re: best of 2006 sofar
i liked the spotted dog in the webcam and on the cover - now whenever I see the two in my neighborhood I think of lemon broadcasts and smile : )

agree with Joethelion on the Dirty Radio/Lemonworld Broadcast
agree with Mark3 on the Tokyo Discs all in all, this has been an amazing year to be an Underworld Fan. seperates teh wheat from the chuff, if you know what i mean. |
Re: best of 2006 sofar
i like everything new...
vinyl / cd whatever... so if when comes then, hey its great for me... so its been good so far, vinyls have arrived, a cd / soundtrack is on the horizon, and i've had some kool stuff sent to me too... so as much as i enjoyed a nodding rick and karl... (i'd like one for the back of my car to keep rather than a movie / wav file)... tokyo 3xcd must be the best thing this year so far, the quality of the discs, and the quanity of the discs... well it was a nice surprise when it came along...and unofficial official release so to speak |
Re: best of 2006 sofar
Yep - I think the Tokyo CD was the best for me too. I will no doubt have a different view in a few weeks (after the Frankfurt gig ;))

Re: best of 2006 sofar

JAL To Tokyo, I can listen to that everytime...
|
Re: best of 2006 sofar
ow yes! the Tokyo cd's were awsome :D
but that knodding movie, it gets to my heart :), makes me smile everytime, a totally different Rick as we see him usually very serious looking, very into the music, and concentrating on what he's doing! and Karl usually the clown of the family, lifting 2 fingers behind Rick's head, and now looking so uninterested hehe. But Rick's big smile is priceless :D |

they should put that on the menu screen of the DVD - when they ever get around to releasing one... :D |

That would be a great menu screen video to have looped. |
Re: best of 2006 sofar
live version of silver boots/always loved a film from the may broadcast...besides being my favorite of the new tunes, they played it about 2 minutes after i requested it in the chat room, and although i'm sure they knew beforehand what would be played, it felt like they'd answered my request:)

Judging by the chat about this CD.I take it,it is now impossible to get a copy? :( |
Re: best of 2006 sofar
There haven't been any additional copies offered since the two rounds on eBay earlier this year. Probably the only way to get a legit copy now is second hand (likely at exorbitant prices).
